She spent over 740minutes on the field and recorded 90 saves with one shutout.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2007 (Freshman @ BallState):</strong><br> Christina did not see action in her first season at BallState.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>(Cal State ChannelIslands):</strong><br> Christina did not play field hockey at Cal State ChannelIslands.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>High School:</strong><br> Christina graduated Royal High School in Simi Valley, Calif., in2006, however she competed in field hockey for the CamarilloCougars club team as Royal HS did not have a field hockey team.Christina sharpened her field hockey skills by competing in theFutures Elite training program in Boston, Mass., the HighPerformance training program in Berkeley, Calif., and the Women'sChampion Challenge in Virginia Beach, Va.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Personal:</strong><br> Christina Niccum was born in Moorpark, Calif. Daughter of Mark andPatti Niccum, she has two sisters, Jessica (12) and Ashley (23, whoalso played field hockey at Pacific). She is a sport medicine majorwith a concentration in sport pedagogy. Christina plans to work inphysical therapy upon graduation. Her hobbies include coaching andplaying field hockey, reading, going to the beach and volunteeringin different medical fields.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>MacDonald onNiccum:</strong> "Christina worked extremely hard in theoff-season.
